This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no third-party advertising and contains no third-party tracking scripts. There are no accounts and no sign-up. We do not ask you for any personal information, and we do not collect any. The one promotional panel you will see is our own publisher’s, and it is explained in full below.
Like essentially every web server, ours keeps a standard access log. For each request it records the IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser’s user-agent string and the referring page. These logs exist so we can keep the site running and defend it against abuse. They are not linked to any identity, are not used to build a profile of you, are never sold or shared, and are rotated and deleted on a routine schedule.
Two things on this site are served by other organisations, which means your browser contacts them directly and they will see your IP address:
We use no other third-party service. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no social widgets, no session recording, no A/B testing tool, no consent-management platform — the last one is unnecessary precisely because there is nothing to consent to.
One panel on this site promotes cruises sold by Pavlus Travel, the agency that publishes this tracker. It is labelled Ad because that is what it is, and the closes it for a week. It is served by us, from this server: there is no ad network, no auction, no pixel and no third-party script behind it.
When you open a ship’s page, your browser remembers that ship — her name, photo and sailing count — so the panel can offer her again while you keep browsing. That note is written to localStorage in your own browser. It never leaves your device, we cannot read it, and it is not an identifier: nothing about you is stored alongside it. Clearing your browser’s site data for this domain deletes it, as does using a private window. It expires by itself after 30 days.
If you click the panel through to pavlus.com, the link carries a campaign tag (utm_source=cruiseshiptracker and similar) so the agency can tell which of its pages this site sends people to. The tag describes the link, not you — it is identical for everybody who clicks it.
If you phone or email us, we keep what you send in order to answer you. That is handled by Pavlus Travel under its own privacy policy. Booking a cruise is a separate transaction with the agency; this tracker is not involved in it.
Because we hold no personal data beyond transient server logs, there is in practice nothing to export, correct or erase. If you believe we hold something about you regardless, write to us and we will look and tell you honestly what we find.
