If a ship is missing, mislabelled, attached to the wrong cruise line, or showing a position that is obviously wrong, please tell us. It helps enormously if you include the ship’s name and the page you saw it on. We match vessels to AIS identifiers by hand, so these reports are the main way errors get found, and we do act on them.
Positions that simply look stale in the middle of an ocean are usually not an error — AIS coverage thins out away from the coast. Our about page explains how that works.
